SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £90.00 per day
Location: Walsall
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

 

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? Smart Education is seeking a dedicated individual to support students aged 7 to 19 with ASD, SLCN, SpLD, and VI in a nurturing school environment. What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Child and Adult Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Minimum of 6 months experience supporting SEN students in a school or similar setting
  • Strong understanding of ASD, SLCN, SpLD, and VI, with the ability to provide tailored learning strategies
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and SENCOs
